SIP FAQ

If you have a question that you don’t see below, email us at application@girlswhoinvest.org.

  • GWI’s Summer Intensive Program is a tuition-free program subsidized by our partner organizations. There is no fee to attend our academic program. Additionally, we provide free housing and meals during our on-campus program. Scholars are responsible for covering travel costs to and from campus and internship cities. Scholars are generally expected to secure and pay for housing throughout their internships. However, financial assistance is available to help reduce or fully cover additional costs, including those related to travel and internship housing. The process of applying for these funds takes place after formal enrollment in the program. Please note that all internships are paid positions, with rates of compensation determined by participating Partner firms.

  • Internship matching will take place from winter through early spring. Internships facilitated by Girls Who Invest will continue to be paid positions. Our team is currently hard at work expanding the ways Scholars will connect with GWI Partner Firms this year, so stay tuned for additional internship-related details as they are announced over the summer!

“I am about to tell all of my friends who are remotely interested in finance to apply for GWI next summer. It truly is a ‘golden ticket’ and an opportunity I believe must be paid forward. I cannot wait to see how this industry changes in the years to come.”
