Recruiting & Admissions Intern - Girls Who Invest

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Recruiting and Admissions (R&A) Intern will report to the Director of Recruiting and Admissions, providing support across communications, data, and program operations. This role offers hands-on experience in higher education recruitment and admissions within a mission-driven nonprofit — with direct impact on how GWI identifies and selects the next generation of women investors and leaders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Admissions & Recruitment Support
Contribute to digital communications efforts by supporting creation of promotional materials, flyers, and other recruitment-related digital assets that represent GWI Programs to prospective applicants
Support virtual and in-person recruitment logistics in consultation with R&A Team's recruitment events calendar
Support cycle prep logistics and identify opportunities to enhance the applicant experience
Collaborate with the team to research and identify recruitment opportunities at colleges and universities for upcoming program cycles
Maintain and update career platform listings (Handshake, Symplicity, and similar platforms) to expand GWI's reach among college student audiences
Support management of the applicant communication inbox, including responding to prospective applicant inquiries and processing material through an admissions CRM (Slate)
Contribute to GWI Scholar evaluation efforts, such as compiling applicant feedback, retrospective cycle data, application testing; identifying opportunities to enhance the applicant experience
Operations & Administrative Efficiency
Help audit, maintain, and enhance contact databases for accuracy and completeness, and to strengthen targeted recruitment efforts
Assist with building, updating, and/or refining reporting dashboards in Monday.com
Conduct benchmarking research on peer organizations and institutions programs, policies, and trends to inform future operational planning
Organizing and archiving historical materials across platforms to support operational efficiency
Support the integration of emerging AI tools to improve administrative efficiency
Support additional projects and duties as assigned
Requirements:
Professional Experience
Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree from accredited four-year institution
Prior experience in an administrative, customer service, or program support capacity — whether through internships, campus roles, volunteering, and/or related work
Familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with CRM platforms (Slate, Salesforce or similar) is a plus
Familiarity with project management tools such as Monday.com is a plus
Basic graphic design experience (Canva or similar) is a plus

Benefits:
Current compensation offered: $21/hr.
As a part-time temporary employee, this role is not eligible to participate in employee benefits with the exception of sick leave.
