Transforming the Investment Management Industry
bringing more women into portfolio management and leadership
Our approach is inclusive: education, mentoring, internships and a supportive community
More than 800 students from U.S. universities and colleges have participated in our Summer Intensive Program (SIP) and Online Intensive Program (OIP) since 2016
Why We Need Girls Who Invest
The asset management industry has been challenged by a lack of diversity on investment teams. And that’s not good for anyone: investment firms, women, and most importantly, investors.
30 by 30
Our goal: 30% of the world's investable capital managed by women by 2030.
We focus on education, industry outreach, accessibility and career placement to inspire and support tomorrow's leading investors.
FEW WOMEN ARE PORTFOLIO MANAGERS IN THE INDUSTRY
In North America, less than 10% of mutual fund portfolio managers are women
WOMEN ARE UNDERREPRESENTED IN LEADERSHIP ROLES
Only 6% of the chief investment officers of the largest institutional U.S. money managers are women. Only 6% of senior leaders in private equity are women, 4% in real estate and 3% in hedge funds
ASSET MANAGEMENT IS BEHIND OTHER FIELDS
Women make up 33% of doctors and 35% of lawyers in the U.S.
