Scott Chan
Chief Investment Officer CalSTRS
Scott Chan has been the chief investment officer of CalSTRS since July 2024, previously serving as deputy CIO from 2018. He leads over 200 investment staff managing a $351.6 billion portfolio. Prior to joining CalSTRS, Chan was senior managing director of the University of California Regents (UC) where he oversaw the $55 billion global equities portfolio across the university’s pension fund, endowment, and working capital pools. CalSTRS has been a Girls Who Invest partner since 2017.

Anne Dinning is Chair of the Executive Committee at the D. E. Shaw group, in which capacity she jointly supervises its worldwide businesses. Anne joined the firm in 1990 as a quantitative researcher in its equity trading unit, was promoted to Managing Director in 1995, and joined the Executive Committee in 2002. Over her more than three decades at the firm, Anne has been instrumental in the development of a number of its investment capabilities. Anne serves on several nonprofit boards. The D. E. Shaw group has been a Girls Who Invest partner since 2016.

Myra R. Drucker is the former lead independent director of Girls Who Invest. Her long experience in investment management includes pioneering work in the field of quantitative investing, followed by lead investment roles at Xerox, International Paper, and General Motors Asset Management. She currently serves on the State of Connecticut Investment Advisory Council and the investment committees of the Boeing Company and the Kresge and Jack Kent Cooke Foundations. She has previously served on numerous public, private and nonprofit boards.

Marc Nachmann serves as global head of Asset & Wealth Management at Goldman Sachs, sitting on the Management Committee and Firmwide Risk Council while co-chairing the Firmwide Investment Policy Committee.
