Investment and Finance Education Programs for First- and

Second-Year College Students

Applications to the 2026 Girls Who Invest Intensive Program coming soon!

The Girls Who Invest Intensive Program includes two tuition-free education paths for undergraduate students enrolled in or transferring to a four-year U.S. or U.S.-style college or university. All majors can apply!

The experience begins with a unified curriculum that builds technical and career development skills to position Scholars for successful careers in investment management and beyond.

Select Scholars placed on the internship track will be eligible for paid internships at GWI Partner Firms. As the Program progresses, Scholars will continue their education in either the Summer Intensive Program (SIP) or in the Online Intensive Program (OIP). Program assignments are dependent on factors including but not limited to availability of internships at our Partner Firms, Scholar internship preferences, and in-Program performance.

Summer Intensive Program

The Summer Intensive Program (SIP) is an experience open to college sophomores on-campus comprising of training and a paid investment internship.

SIP combines academic instruction with real-world experience.

Learn core finance and investment principles alongside a strong community and then apply that knowledge through a paid internship with a leading investment firm.

Online Intensive Program

The Online Intensive Program (OIP) is a self-directed, asynchronous experience open to college sophomores and first-years.

OIP allows independent learners the opportunity to develop skills in finance and investing fundamentals at their own pace from renowned training organizations.

The program is designed for completion from winter through summer and can be completed alongside an independent internship, summer job, or other full-time endeavor.

“Not only did GWI give me the foundational skills & confidence I needed to break into finance, but also a massive alumni community that will continue to empower and support me throughout my career. Can’t recommend enough for any first-year/sophomore women!”
