Girls Who Invest (“GWI”) is a non-profit organization founded in 2015 dedicated to increasing the number of women in asset management. We do this by providing educational programs, paid internships, mentorship and a supportive community for female college students attending U.S. colleges and universities. Read more at

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess organizational systems and databases to determine appropriateness, functionality and interoperability and manage on ongoing basis

  • Identify and implement tools and applications that aid in the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization

  • Standardize and remodel operational workflow at a non-profit educational start-up 

  • Oversee data management, data repositories such as our shared drive, CRM, and ATS (Applicant Tracking System)

  • Develop analytics to enable business decision-making

  • Project management expertise in utilizing key project management software; able to make recommendations and work flow improvements as our program grows

  • Work with bookkeeper on accounts payable, accounts receivable and expenses

  • Able to weigh in on an improved communications channel for a team of less than 10 working across different offices. 


  • Experience in systems / technology project management

  • Experience with financial reporting

  • Experience or knowledge of the financial industry is a plus

  • Ability to work independently

  • Excellent communication, organizational and project management skills

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

  • Residence in New York City and environs preferred due to office location in Midtown
