Girls Who Invest (“GWI”) is a non-profit organization founded in 2015 dedicated to increasing the number of women in asset management. We do this by providing educational programs, paid internships, mentorship and a supportive community for female college students attending U.S. colleges and universities. Read more at

Work with GWI’s Head of Career Development to execute all types of soft skills training during our Summer Intensive Program; assess these trainings and make suggestions for improvement

  • Execute one-on-one meetings with our scholars to discuss career aspirations and create customized plans for success

  • Review scholar resumes and make suggestions for improvement

  • Execute mock interviews

  • Assist in planning and executing our webinar series, career development newsletters, scholar events and scholar conferences in conjunction with our Girls Who Invest Alumni Council

  • Maintain GWI Careers (, our proprietary careers site for our scholars and partner firms

  • Research opportunities within the industry particularly at our partner firms to funnel to our scholars via GWI Careers or other methods

  • Create resources pages and guides for ongoing career development and retention strategies

  • Track scholar data and career development KPIs; assist in translating those into reporting for our Board of Directors, Advisory Board and other constituents


  • 2+ years of experience in campus recruiting, experienced recruiting, human resources or training and development at an investing or investing-related firm

  • Knowledge of the financial industry

  • Experience with Excel, systems and data collection

  • Excellent communication skills with a customer service-oriented approach

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

  • Residence in New York City and environs preferred due to office location in Midtown
